To me, technology means a method of holding tons of information that almost anyone can access. For example, phones send information in the way of verbal communication, computer send information in the way of digital form and printers and scanners allow information to be held physically. Some information is much more difficult to access if the author believes it is best and restrict the information to only certain people.
